Time Trials anyone?

Looking for a way to check your progress this year? A little friendly competition outside of the race series? This may be just what you are looking for.
It's been called the "Silent Q"
Basically you pick a course go out and ride it, then post your time. We can leave the course up on the site and periodically check the progress, share tips, and try to get faster as a club.
Here's my first course: Black Partridge trail 3 to 5 to 6 back to 5 to 3 up 4 back on 2 to 1.
Start and finish your timers at the trail head sign.
not making sense? check out the map. Target time should be 25 minutes or less. post up how you do.

I have a question. At the top of the climb on trail 2, there is a Y. Do you go to the right or the left? They both bring you to the same place right there before the handicap bridge. If you go to the right, then my time was 21:25. If you are supposed to go left there, I guess I will have to do it over.

21.25 is good. on trail 2 stay on the high side of the trail (left) until crossing the bridge then go to the lowside (singletrak to the right).

18.15. Lots of greasy goodness today, but trails will be perfect tomorrow. Thanks to everybody who helped with trailcare this weekend. The reroute at the first bridge approach is great!

19.23
Anybody else try to go under the new horse-prevention tree? It is just over handlebar high, and needless to say I did not quite make it. Lesson learned.

my trail six loop time was 9.17 almost back to race speed from last year.

Just under 19 minutes both laps. I crashed twice on the first one. There was a new deadfall blocking trail 3 about 15 seconds after the kiosk. It's out of the way. On trail 6, I made it under the deadfall only to crash on the other side. We will have to take care of that one.
