Fort Creve Coeur Park

Fort Creve Coeur Park is located on the west side of town, situated on the bluffs overlooking the Illinois River. The trail system is a work in progress utilizing the extreme elevation changes and open forest layout. The trails will be suitable for all skill levels of bikers and hikers, but also exciting for the more extreme thrill seekers. Many areas have stunning views of the river and downtown Peoria skyline. The Park itself is complete with a campground, playground, and restrooms with showers. The main trail head is located just south of the Fort on the north side of the property.
